Who are we?
ROZMAII Arts Collective is a space for hands-on arts education, created for those who want not only to study art, but to create it. We combine in-depth theoretical learning with real practical experience, helping shape a new generation of Ukrainian artists capable of creating contemporary cultural work at an international level.ROZMAII was founded on the belief that art cannot be learned in the classroom alone. That is why our educational approach is built around collaborative creative work, hands-on practice, and the development of original projects. We believe that the best way to become a professional is to work as part of a team, make mistakes, experiment, and create real theatre productions and films while still learning.
The inspiration behind ROZMAII
The creative method of Les Kurbas lies at the heart of our approach. We share his vision of art as a continuous process of development, exploration, and the search for new forms. That is why ROZMAII is not only a place to study, but also a creative laboratory where new ideas, performances, films, and artistic collaborations are born. We aim to reinterpret the principles of the Berezil Artistic Association for a contemporary context, creating an independent Ukrainian environment where a new generation of artists can grow.
OUR MISSION
We aim to create an authentic space for hands-on arts education in Lviv, bringing people together around Ukrainian culture, cinema, and theatre.
Our mission is to nurture professional, responsible, and socially aware artists; create high-quality Ukrainian cultural work; promote Ukrainian cinema internationally; and build a strong creative community capable of bringing ambitious artistic projects to life.
OUR TEAM
Viktoriya Hnativ
Founder of ROZMAII Arts Collective, actress, director, and cultural practitioner.
Anastasiia Kartava
Acting teacher, theatre and film actress, and director.
We see ROZMAII as the beginning of a larger creative ecosystem. In the future, we plan to establish our own film studio, involve our graduates in professional projects, produce theatre and film works, open new programs in other cities across Ukraine, and contribute to the development of a wider Ukrainian space for hands-on arts practice.
We believe that a strong culture begins with a community. That is why ROZMAII is not simply a place to learn, but a space where ideas are born, like-minded people meet, and the future of Ukrainian art is created.
